SIR SYDNEY SAMUELSON, CBE<\/strong><\/p>\n

7th DECEMBER 1925 – 14th DECEMBER 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

And as we heard that Sir Sydney Samuelson had passed away on December 14th  2022, we realised it is the end of a great era of the Samuelson brothers; David, Sydney, Tony and Michael.<\/p>\n

This website is now not active but will continue to be accessible in perpetuity in honour of their memory.<\/p>\n

Fond Farewell to the last brother, Sir Sydney who lived to the grand age of 97 having devoted his adult life to the industry.<\/p>\n

Sir Sydney was the first British Film Commissioner and former head of BAFTA amongst just a few of his many accolades.<\/p>\n

He passed away peacefully and is survived by his sons Peter, Jonathan and Marc and along with the family\u2019s 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, the dynasty is in good hands.<\/p>\n
